Kranpunkten celebrates 35 years in the industry.

- In the beginning, it was just Stefan and me, along with those who worked on the farm. Our need for lifts arose more as a coincidence during the construction of our machinery hall for our agriculture. Lifts were quite uncommon at that time. Our purchase of two machines felt like a huge step. One could never have imagined that this investment of two machines, which we saw as a complement to the combine harvester, manure spreader, loader, etc., would develop into what it is today with over 100 employees and more than 4500 machines. Environmental thinking has always been a big part of Kranpunkten, and today sustainability is more relevant than ever. Kranpunkten actively works to achieve the environmental goal of being climate-neutral by 2030.

In 2019, the year Kranpunkten celebrated its 30th anniversary, the largest investment package in the company's history was implemented. This is part of a conscious strategy to convert the machine fleet to hybrid and electrically driven machines and vehicles. In the spring of 2022, Kranpunkten put into operation the first electrically powered truck with unique adaptation for loading, unloading, and transporting lifts to and from customers' worksites.

- In 1989, "Sustainable" was not a word that was particularly used, instead, we talked about common sense. However, I would like to say that it is the same thing. Things must be sustainable throughout the chain. Economically, environmentally, socially, and especially for our personnel and their safety. Everything is interconnected.

In 2024, Kranpunkten celebrates 35 years in the industry. The journey over more than three decades has been marked by growth, continuous investments, and efficiencies. The common thread has always been there - everything has been done with long-term and sustainable value creation in focus.

- The upcoming challenges are many, but also the opportunities. We are entering a tougher market that will be challenging. How long, we do not know, but we can be sure that it will turn around at some point. We will continue to transition to a more sustainable machine fleet, and we will continue to sharpen our offer to the customer. As I said, there will be tougher times now, but in the long run, I am optimistic. There will always be a need to build homes, infrastructure, and energy solutions. My goal is for us to gain market share during the tougher times and grow when the market rebounds. With the right people and the right attitude, anything is possible! Sometimes it just takes a little longer...
