Welcome to our 2025 Sustainability report

We continue to operate in a world shaped by geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty and changing market conditions, all of which affect us in one way or another. For many people, this brings uncertainty about the future. In times like these, both resilience and responsibility are put to the test.
Against this backdrop, I am proud that throughout 2025 we have continued to move our sustainability efforts forward. While the pace of the transition is influenced by external factors, our ambition remains unchanged. Our journey towards becoming a climate-neutral company continues through the gradual electrification of our equipment and vehicle fleet, increased use of renewable fuels, and close collaboration with our transport and logistics partners.
During the year, we also adapted to changing regulatory requirements. Our preparations for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the new sustainability reporting framework required significant effort. Towards the end of 2025, changes to the legislation meant that we were no longer subject to the same reporting requirements as previously expected. While this affects how we report, it does not change the direction of our work. Our conviction remains clear: our sustainability efforts are driven not by regulations, but by responsibility, business value and a long-term perspective.
Our employees remain our most valuable asset. Guided by our core values – KEPS: Competence, Efficiency, Personal Service and Safety – we strive to be knowledgeable, efficient, customer-focused and committed to putting safety first. These values create a culture that enables us to remain strong even when conditions change. For us, social sustainability is not only about providing a safe and rewarding workplace, but also about making a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate.
Throughout the year, we have continued to adapt to new conditions without losing momentum in our long-term ambitions. It is precisely during periods of uncertainty that long-term thinking and responsible decision-making become most important. As market conditions begin to improve, we see growing opportunities to turn our ambitions into tangible results.
As I look to the future, I do so with great confidence. For more than 35 years, we have demonstrated our ability to adapt, evolve and find new ways forward. The determination that has brought us this far remains as strong as ever and will continue to guide us towards a business that is sustainable from an economic, social and environmental perspective.
It is our responsibility.
And our opportunity.
