As environmental requirements continue to increase – particularly within the construction industry and urban transport sectors – so does the demand from our customers for solutions that make a real difference. At Kranpunkten, we have therefore spent several years driving a focused transition towards the electrification of both our equipment fleet and transportation operations.
The journey towards a sustainable solution often begins with a site visit from one of our sales representatives. We visit your workplace and review the project requirements, conditions and the equipment best suited to the job. Our goal is always to help you make the most sustainable choice possible, without compromising on functionality or efficiency.
Naturally, we travel there in electric vehicles – the first step in our fully electrified rental solution.
At our depots, electric machines are charged and ready to go – alongside electric service and transport vehicles. The entire electric fleet is powered by renewable electricity, partly generated by Kranpunkten’s own solar panel installations. This means that transportation and operations can be carried out with minimal climate impact from the very beginning.
When it is time for delivery, the equipment is loaded onto one of our electric trucks, specially adapted to transport lifting equipment safely and efficiently. The machines are delivered directly to your worksite – with zero emissions and minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
Thanks to their quiet operation, our electric trucks are particularly well suited for deliveries in urban areas, residential neighbourhoods and environmentally sensitive project environments.
Once the equipment is in place, the work can begin – using machines that are both powerful and sustainable. Our range of electric-powered access equipment is one of the most comprehensive on the market, from compact scissor lifts for confined indoor environments to boom lifts with exceptional reach and working height – ideal for demanding outdoor projects.
They can be charged directly at your worksite throughout the rental period, making the solution both practical and climate-friendly. As a customer, you benefit from a safer working environment with cleaner air, lower noise levels and fewer disturbances – without compromising performance.
Need service or support during the rental period? An electric service vehicle will be dispatched to your site. Our technicians are specially trained and always ready to respond quickly – guided by Kranpunkten’s core values: competence, efficiency, personal service and safety.
As the rental period draws to a close, the equipment is loaded back onto one of our electric trucks and transported back to the depot. Just like the initial delivery, the return transport is quiet, efficient and completely emission-free. As a customer, you do not need to worry about logistics or handling – we take care of the entire process in a way that simplifies your daily operations while reducing environmental impact.
Once back at the depot, the equipment undergoes servicing, charging and inspection in accordance with our quality and safety procedures. Thanks to GPS tracking, we can monitor each machine’s usage in detail and optimise both service intervals and logistics. This means the equipment is quickly ready to be deployed again – for the next customer, on the next project, in an equally sustainable way.
