Thriving at Work!

For Sebastian, who works as a workshop manager, the daily tasks can vary from assisting colleagues and troubleshooting machines to ordering spare parts and materials. In his role, he is responsible for his workshop team and serves as a contact person for suppliers.

- The best part of my job is the flexibility and having such great colleagues. We spend most of our waking hours at work, so it’s important to enjoy the workplace and the people you work with, says Sebastian.

For Hugo, who works as a repair technician, the job mainly involves function testing and repairing larger outdoor machines, such as boom lifts and rough terrain scissor lifts. Hugo also supports colleagues working inside the workshop with smaller machines.

- The challenge in my role is tackling new problems that I’ve never encountered before or know anything about, An example of this is when we bring in new machine brands to our fleet that we haven’t worked with previously. In such cases, we have to learn the machines from scratch, says Hugo.

- The most enjoyable part of my job is the variety of tasks and the opportunity to grow. For instance, I started as a return receiver, but today I work as a repair technician. Solving problems and learning new things every day is incredibly rewarding, Hugo adds.
