Kranpunkten Supplies Lifting Equipment for Aquatic Center
In the center of Hässleholm, one of the municipality’s larger projects is taking shape — a new, state-of-the-art aquatic center that will replace the previous, worn-out facility. The project is commissioned by Hässleholm Municipality, with PEAB as the main contractor. To ensure an efficient and safe workflow, PEAB has contracted Kranpunkten to supply lifts and construction hoists.
The project began in September 2023 and is scheduled for completion in autumn 2025. Interior work is currently underway, including everything from electrical and ventilation installations to tiling and interior fittings.
Kranpunkten supplies lifts to several contractors on site — from the structural assembly phase to today’s installation work.
At the peak of the project, Kranpunkten had as many as 40 machines on site, including scissor lifts, mast lifts, boom lifts, and a construction hoist. At present, around 20 lifts are in operation to support the ongoing indoor work.
