Kranpunkten Contributes to the Future of Infrastructure at Lund Södra Interchange
One of Sweden’s busiest interchanges is being redeveloped — and Kranpunkten is part of the journey.
As part of this development, Kranpunkten has placed a new order for 40 fully electric scissor lifts from Dingli. The order includes, among other things, all-terrain lifts as well as oil-free models without hydraulic systems — offering both lower energy consumption and reduced environmental impact. The new units will be gradually put into operation during the second quarter of 2025.
“We continue to place high demands on our suppliers. That’s why it’s gratifying to see technological development moving forward, giving us the opportunity to complement our fleet with standardized, electric-powered machines that can handle work at great heights,” says Rikard Jönsson, Purchasing Manager at Kranpunkten.
The strategy is part of an effort to make it easier for both customers and suppliers to make sustainable choices — while also helping drive the industry’s transition forward.
