Kranpunkten Invests in New Fully Electric Scissor Lifts

For customers in the construction and industrial sectors, access to environmentally adapted machines is a basic prerequisite for running a sustainable operation. Kranpunkten meets these requirements through a strategic focus on electrifying its machinery fleet, reducing transport emissions, and phasing out substances that are harmful to the environment and human health.

As part of this development, Kranpunkten has placed a new order for 40 fully electric scissor lifts from Dingli. The order includes, among other things, all-terrain lifts as well as oil-free models without hydraulic systems — offering both lower energy consumption and reduced environmental impact. The new units will be gradually put into operation during the second quarter of 2025.

“We continue to place high demands on our suppliers. That’s why it’s gratifying to see technological development moving forward, giving us the opportunity to complement our fleet with standardized, electric-powered machines that can handle work at great heights,” says Rikard Jönsson, Purchasing Manager at Kranpunkten.

The strategy is part of an effort to make it easier for both customers and suppliers to make sustainable choices — while also helping drive the industry’s transition forward.
