Kranpunkten continues to invest in large boom lifts

Kranpunkten continues to maintain a high level of investment despite a challenging market situation. With a stable customer base and a growing need for modern lifting solutions, the company is now expanding its fleet with 50 new boom lifts – an initiative that ensures Kranpunkten is well positioned when the market turns.

Kranpunkten is continuing to invest for the future, even in a more cautious construction climate. Thanks to a broad and stable customer base and a sustained need for reliable lifting equipment, the company is able to further strengthen its fleet. The new boom lifts feature robust construction, long outreach and working heights ranging from 20 to 45 meters, making them well suited for construction, installation and maintenance work across multiple industries.

The investment is part of Kranpunkten’s long-term strategy to modernise its fleet and ensure strong capacity nationwide. By continuing to invest even during tougher times, the company is well prepared for an increase in demand once the market picks up again.

“We continue to update our fleet with modern machines and the latest technology. This investment strengthens our offering and ensures that our customers have access to the most efficient lifting solutions on the market. We may also be seeing early signs that the market is beginning to move in the right direction,” says Rikard Jönsson, Purchasing Manager at Kranpunkten.

The machine deliveries, which have already begun, are scheduled to be completed by March 2026. The delivery includes both electric lifts and models with combustion engines that meet the latest emission standards. The combustion engine machines will be operated using the renewable fuel HVO 100, helping to reduce climate impact in customers’ projects.
